Sunrise Mesa Design

Sunrise Mesa Design was founded by a lifelong creative who returned to Colorado in 2006 with her husband to settle in Huerfano County. Together, they built their home in the Silver Spurs Ranch community south of Walsenburg, where they have spent years thoughtfully developing their property and enjoying the beauty of southern Colorado.

Having lived in several western states—including Wyoming, Nevada, Washington, and Montana—she has drawn inspiration from the diverse cultures and landscapes she experienced along the way. Her artistic journey has taken her through many creative mediums, from polymer clay and alcohol inks to macramé and beyond, each reflecting her passion for exploring new forms of expression.

Family and faith are also at the heart of Sunrise Mesa Design. With five children and four grandchildren, family remains a central joy, while her husband serves as pastor of Huerfano Community Bible Church. Deeply invested in her community, she is encouraged by the growth and progress happening in Huerfano County and looks forward to sharing her creations as part of the vibrant future of southern Colorado.
