Scrap Happy is the creative venture of Rhonda Newson, who credits her lifelong love of fabric and sewing to her mother and grandmother. Taught to sew at a very young age, Rhonda received her first sewing machine at just five years old, sparking a passion that has only grown through the years. Inspired by the generations before her—who sewed clothing, drapes, quilts, and more—Rhonda continues the tradition by sharing the joy of fabrics with her community.

Through Scrap Happy, she brings her experience, creativity, and love of textiles to every project, helping others find the same delight in fabric that she has cherished her entire life.
