Nickell Designs

Nickell Design is owned by Patti Nickell, a southern Colorado native who has lived in Las Animas since 1975. Patti is married and a proud mother of three sons, mother-in-law to three daughters, grandmother to eight, and great-grandmother to one. After a 32-year career as the Bent County Clerk, Patti retired in January 2019 to focus on her lifelong passion for photography.

Her work captures the natural beauty of Colorado, including butterflies, sunflowers, sunsets, La Veta deer, and the vibrant colors of fall. Each piece reflects Patti’s deep appreciation for the landscapes and moments that make her home so special.
