Mountain View Sanctuary

Founded in 2016, Mountain View Sanctuary Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary nestled in the mountains of Walsenburg, Colorado. Overlooking the breathtaking Spanish Peaks of Huerfano County, the sanctuary provides a safe, lifelong home for neglected, disabled, at-risk, special-needs, and rehomed animals—particularly livestock in need of care and compassion.
