Mountain Escapes

MountainEscape Creations is owned by Kayla Pacheco, a Walsenburg native, mother of five, and dedicated community member. Kayla is a teacher at Peakview School, a server and bartender at the Stokehouse, and a passionate small business owner.

Her love of creativity began in her youth, crafting everything from fairy houses and wind chimes to ankle bracelets and croc charms. Known for her imaginative and unique designs, Kayla has been making jewelry since 2005 and officially launched MountainEscape Creations in 2017.

Through her art and crafts, Kayla aims to share joy, whimsy, and a little piece of happiness with everyone who experiences her creations. Each piece reflects her playful spirit and dedication to creativity.
