Flamingo Book Club

The Flamingo Book Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting literacy among children through engaging, mobile programs. Partnering with elementary schools and libraries, the organization brings curated selections of children’s books directly to participating communities.

The program offers monthly book boxes or a free book each month to elementary-aged children, their families, and educators. Books are delivered directly to schools and libraries, making it easy for staff to distribute them. A highlight of the program is the visit from Mrs. Flamingo, who hosts interactive storytime sessions featuring read-alouds, music, games, puppets, and more. The Flamingo Book Club also participates in community events, providing free books and activities such as face painting.

Through these initiatives, the Flamingo Book Club strives to foster a lifelong love of reading, increase access to books, and inspire learning and imagination in children throughout the community.
