Ecozoica Apothecary

Nestled in an off-grid cabin on 11 acres in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Ecozoica Apothecary was founded from a lifelong love of nature and a deep respect for the plants of Colorado’s wild landscapes. What began as a passion project—crafting salves, tinctures, and teas from foraged plants—grew into Colorado Wildcrafts, a small venture selling at farmers’ markets across southern Colorado.

In pursuit of deeper knowledge, the founder enrolled in the Herbal Medics/Human Path program in Taos, NM, studying clinical herbalism and expanding both skill and vision. Two years later, a shared calling led to the creation of Ecozoica Apothecary—more than just a business, but a mission to foster community, resilience, and stronger connections to the plant world through education and herbal medicine.

Ecozoica crafts potent, small-batch herbal remedies using ethically harvested and sustainably grown herbs. Sustainability is its foundation, reflected in the apothecary’s off-grid operations, commitment to plastic-free packaging, and ongoing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.
