Donovans Creations

Phyllis Donovan, the creative force behind Donovan’s Creations, has called southern Colorado home since the early 1970s. Originally from New York, Phyllis moved to Trinidad with her four children after an earthquake in California, where she spent three decades working as a bartender and building strong community ties. About ten years ago, she settled into a lovely home in Aguilar.

A lifelong crafter, Phyllis has always enjoyed crocheting and knitting, but she later discovered diamond painting art online—an art form that has since grown in popularity worldwide. She has completed over 20 unique pieces, many of which have been sold or gifted to friends and family. Each creation is beautifully framed by Lucky at the framing shop in Trinidad, adding the perfect finishing touch.
