Craftsman Cottage Artisans

Craftsman Cottage Artisans is the collaborative venture of Elena and Richard, who have been creating together since their first meeting in high school over 45 years ago. Elena is a versatile artist, skilled in paper crafts, mixed media, sewing, knitting, and more, while Richard specializes in woodworking, combining tools over a century old with state-of-the-art equipment he builds himself.

Since moving to Walsenburg and renovating their 1908 Craftsman cottage, Elena and Richard have established a dedicated studio space where they focus full-time on their artistic creations. Their work is inspired not only by their shared passion for craftsmanship but also by the rich history and welcoming community of Walsenburg.
