Crafted Treasures by Cheryl
After moving to Southern Colorado in 2015, my husband, Jeff, and I found our home on 35 beautiful acres, where we enjoy incredible views of the Spanish Peaks right from our back porch.
Jeff retired from the Department of the Navy, and after many years in hospital administration and pharmacy management, I officially retired in September 2025.
I’ve always loved card making, crafting, and giving new life to repurposed items—whether creating home and garden décor or special gifts for family and friends. Retirement has given me even more time to enjoy this creative hobby, and thrift stores are still my favorite places to hunt for unique treasures and inspiration!
When I’m not crafting, I enjoy giving back to our community by volunteering with Dorcas Food Pantry, serving as a group leader for the Good News Club at Peakview Elementary, and being involved with Huerfano Community Bible Church.
In my free time, you’ll find me hiking, biking, gardening, reading, or simply enjoying time with my husband, family, and friends. I’m grateful to call Southern Colorado home and to share a little bit of what I love creating with the Mercantile community.
