Bob Bader Customer Wood Products

Bob Bader creates handcrafted cutting boards and custom wood products that reflect both skill and tradition. A lifelong resident of Walsenburg and a proud John Mall High School graduate, Bob grew up active in football, basketball, and track while also discovering his love for woodworking in the school’s shop classes.

Over the years, he honed his craft by building dressers, butcher blocks, and custom furniture pieces, always finding joy in working with his hands. Bob later spent 40 years as a union sheet metal worker before retiring and returning to his first passion—woodworking.

Today, he continues to design and create high-quality cutting boards and wood products, blending functionality with timeless craftsmanship. Woodworking runs in the family as well—his son, Steven Bader, is a skilled leatherworker and owner of Bar 9L Designs.
