His debut single, "On My Way," premiered on CMT, and he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in country music, including Jon Pardi, Chris Young, Clay Walker, Randy Houser, Michael Ray, Mitchell Tenpenny, Josh Turner, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Parmalee, Koe Wetzel, Easton Corbin, and many more. Cody also co-wrote "Sounds Like a Small Town," featured on Craig Campbell's The Lost Files: Exhibit A album.
